Product Basic Functions

1.1 Compression Method for Video and Audio Digital Signals

  • Video data is compressed using ISO14496-10 (H.264 / H.265), ensuring high compression ratio and optimal image quality while minimizing storage space.
  • Audio is compressed using G711A, providing better sound quality with minimal distortion.

1.2 Recording Method for Video and Audio Digital Signals

Storage Format

  • Video and audio data streams are stored using a proprietary file system with data encryption, preventing data loss due to frequent power outages in vehicles.

Compression Bitrate

  • 8 adjustable quality levels (bitrate: 192Kbps - 2.0Mbps per channel) to meet different customer needs.

Storage Capacity

  • Supports 2 x 128GB SD cards with automatic loop-overwrite storage.

1.3 Image Quality for Monitoring, Recording, and Playback

Image Resolution

  • 1080P: Monitoring: 1920*1080 per channel; Recording: 1920*1080 per channel; Playback: 1920*1080 per channel.

Frame Rate

  • Monitoring, recording, and playback are all at 25 frames per second.

Monitoring Horizontal Resolution

  • Single-channel monitoring horizontal resolution ≥270TVL.

Playback Horizontal Resolution

  • Single-channel playback horizontal resolution ≥270TVL.

1.4 Total Resources

4-Channel 1080P

  • Supports 4 channels of 1080P (1920*1080) simultaneous recording, up to 120 frames.
  • Supports 4 channels of 1080P (1920*1080) simultaneous playback (except when network function is enabled), up to 120 frames.

1.5 Synchronized Video and Audio Recording Function

  • Supports synchronized recording of video, audio, and GPS/BeiDou positioning data. During local playback, video and audio can be played back synchronously. When played back on a computer using software, video, audio, and GPS/BeiDou positioning data can be played back simultaneously.

1.6 Video and Audio Intrusion Detection Function

  • When the device's motion detection recording function is enabled, it can start recording and trigger an alarm when motion is detected in the camera's monitoring area. The size, position, sensitivity, number of zones, and entry/exit of zones can all be configured.

1.7 Video Signal Loss Alarm Function

  • When the video signal is lost, the device sends an alarm signal over the network with a response time ≤5s and logs the alarm. Video channels that are not recording do not perform video signal loss detection.

1.8 Alarm Linkage Function

  • Supports 4 alarm inputs (high-level trigger: 9.5–36V) and 1 alarm output (relay output, max 500mA current, normally open). When any of the 4 alarm inputs are triggered, video and audio recording starts (30-330s, configurable), and the alarm output closure time can be set (5s-900s). An alarm signal is sent over the network with a response time ≤1s.

1.9 Alarm Pre-Recording Function

  • In alarm recording mode, the device pre-records video, audio, and positioning data for at least 5 seconds before the alarm.

1.10 Full-Duplex Function

  • In full recording mode, the device can search and playback recorded video and audio data without frame loss. Alarm recording files and real-time recording files are marked for easy viewing.

1.11 Fault Alarm Function

  • The device has a fault alarm function. When a fault occurs, the alarm output is activated, and the external alarm indicator will continue to work for at least 5 minutes.

1.12 Self-Diagnosis and Fault Recovery Function

  • The device continuously monitors its operating status. If a fault or crash occurs, the device will recover within 3 minutes.

1.13 Control of Front-End Devices and Multi-Channel Real-Time Monitoring and Switching

  • The device can control PTZ cameras using the default protocol (RS-485, PELCO-D protocol, 9600 baud rate) and supports 4-channel real-time monitoring and switching.

1.14 Networking Function

  • The device has networking capabilities. Combined with the CMS remote monitoring software installed on a computer and the integrated 3G/4G network in the device, remote monitoring of any vehicle can be achieved.

1.15 Data Backup

  • Recorded video segments on the SD card can be remotely downloaded over the network.
  • The SD card installed in the device can be removed and connected to a computer using the provided adapter. The device's proprietary software can be used to play or download data from the SD card. The software can also convert the data into a universal AVI file format for playback with other software.

1.16 Operation Authorization, Data Encryption, and Data Security

  • The device operation is password-protected, with the default password "6666". Data on the hard drive is stored using a proprietary file system with encryption for data security.

1.17 Log Function

  • The device logs all received alarm signals and device faults. The most recent 10 log entries can be viewed on the device, and all log entries can be viewed by connecting the device's hard drive to a computer.
